Is it possible that I saw you having breakfast at Katie Belle's one morning last week...maybe Friday? The reason I ask is that I seem to remember your email address that was on the back of a tee shirt. It said:

Love Dogs
Hate People

I thought an interesting statement for advertising ???

Hi Njsonja,

We can all relate to your falling in love with TV, that's for sure.

Don't worry, there are plenty of resales available. Your best bet is probably to contact an MLS Realtor and a Villages sales agent and tell them what you are looking for. When either finds a resale available that meets your budget and other criteria, they will contact you. They'll be able to provide photos and answer any questions you have about the home.

If you contact an MLS Realtor ask for a written buyer's agent agreement. This will require the agent to represent only your interests in the transaction, rather than representing the seller.

It would be ideal if you could visit again and get a feel for the different areas of TV and also the different types of floor plans available.

Best wishes to you.

Njsonja, If you look on www.thevillages.com, click on the homes tab, click on "search preowned homes" the homes listed by TV sales agents will pop up. You can specify number of bedrooms, bathrooms, what village you would like to search in, patio villa, courtyard villa, etc. Then for the homes in TV listed by MLS agents you could look at realtor.com or other MLS realtor sites as suggested earlier. Good luck to you in your home search.

The following is the web address I used when I was monitoring mls re-sales. It is a good start.

The listing automatically updates new listings and recently reduced properties. You can customize the search parameters to your preferences.

As have other posters, I recommend that you slow down a little bit (my 20-something daughter calls it chillax) and take the time to get a feel for the various areas of TV.

TV as a whole is wonderful- references to adult Disney, cruise ship on land, paradise underscore that- but TV spans parts of 3 counties (meaning different tax rates/rules) and each TV village has a vibe of its own. You might want to do some exploring to discover which vibe fits you.
