Re: Hypothetical Situation re: grandchildren
Dayton,
Are you sure they are under 19? There are a number of special needs adult children living here with their parents. Perhaps these buses were picking up these adult children for school programs?

Re: Hypothetical Situation re: grandchildren
There is a section north side of 466 toward Fruitland Park where families live. Most are employees. They do not use the amenities.

Re: Hypothetical Situation re: grandchildren
Yes, there is an older section for families. It's off of 466, going east towards 441. And TV is building a new family area across from the Methodist church.
I am not disagreeing with what may be written in the convenents. But I know for a fact, that there are children here, and I have seen (with my own eyes) the bus picking up and dropping off. I cannot tell you what age, but they were not adults. |

Re: Hypothetical Situation re: grandchildren
I wasn't doubting your veracity Dayton. I was just wondering if they were special needs children and perhaps exceptions were made.

Re: Hypothetical Situation re: grandchildren
My guess would be that this is like the 3+ pet issue -- if no one complains, it is not an issue. If a neighbor or other individual chooses to complain, then the TVer has a choice -- get rid of the extra pet or child under 19 or move.

I love children but if this is true I feel we should know about it. It may not be in our area but if it is allowed in one place then it will be allowed in another. |

Re: Hypothetical Situation re: grandchildren
The new Parkwood section (off CR101) seems to be designed for families, and is advertised several times a day on The Villages radio station. I believe that there will be an open house weekend at the end of June. If someone had a grandchild living with them, I would assume they and the child would be better off living there.

Re: Hypothetical Situation re: grandchildren
Actually there are 3 family areas, Spring Arbor, the new Bison Valley and Oak something. Parkwood is not in the villages and anyone can live there.
