Default Life Style Visit is Confirmed

Hello All,

I have been lurking for a couple of months. My wife and I visited TV in Feb and really liked what we saw. We have arranged a Life Style visit for late June, it will be nice to try it for a week. Looking forward to moving to TV and living the good life. Besides for needing to buy a place and sell our home, we are finding the hard part is going to be the downsizing, I guess many others have done it so we should be able to figure it out as well.

Bill,

Welcome to TOTV! Less is more when it comes to downsizing. The less you keep, the more everything will fit into your TV home and lifestyle.

Best wishes!

Hey Bill.

Downsizing is difficult. We sold, gave away, and threw away. Then we did it again when we realized that some of the stuff that we kept we hadn't used in years and really meant nothing to us. It was just an idea that we had in our head that we "might someday" need it. It's only been a couple of months and I can't remember what we got rid of now. Kind of tells you how much we needed all that stuff doesn't it?

Your going to love TV and TOTV.

Welcome home.

Jim

We have been working on downsizing..selling and dumping for the last month. The last big hurdle is selling my wood working tools and they seem to be moving ok. We have also been getting the house ready to go on the market and signed with a realtor today. Not sure how long it will take to sell but last month the house two doors down sold in two days...the Raleigh market has really heated up lately. Still setup for the Life Style Visit later this month. See you all soon!

Regards,

Bill

Good Luck and if you can't find a home for the woodworking tools there is a shop here that might be able to use them

Hi USCGretired
We hope you have a good visit at TV. Sure you will. We have been back
and forth 12 years. Selling next spring to get to TV by Oct 2013.
We just can't wait. Never found anything we didn't like and oh how
friendly everyone has been. The wait does get you sick which is where I
an at. Hope we meet someday soon.

to TOTV, Bill (the new one, not the old one!)(there IS an echo in here) .
Looks as if we have Mobile in common, unless you knew Commander Wooley.

CaptJohn - CDR Wooley sounds real familiar, I was at the USCG Aviation Training Center in Mobile 72-76.
