Default Build out date

I've searched the forum to find the estimated build out date and the best I could find was two years old and it said 2015, maybe longer. Does anyone have an update?

Thanks

mandc, Welcome to TOTV. I am a wannabee, not a Villager, so the Villagers who post here are the best to answer this. As far as build out date, that is a topic of a good deal of debate on this forum. I have heard anywhere from sometime in 2015 to sometime in 2016. Other posters seem to think the developer will continue building as long as the developer can continue to acquire land. If you are thinking of moving to The Villages, this is a very good forum to get information about moving to and living in The Villages.

I agree with Schaumburg in that a buildout date is uncertain. The sales associates will tell you something you want to hear, but the developer always comes up with more land. In my opinion, it doesn't matter. Housing sales are always good in TV, and there is always property available, either new or pre owned.

No one knows and my sales associate always told us he didn't know.

Every answer to your very reasonable question will be PURE speculation.

The Fruitland Park situation indicates to me that the plan is quite flexible. If you could make something that so many people wanted so badly, would you stop if you weren't forced to ?

With the addition of The Villages of Fruitland Park, whatever the build out date was, has just been extended by a year with 2,000 additional homes and another exec. golf course being planned!!

as history will confirm the build out date is a rolling guesstimate.

Seems to me the only folks concerned about a build out date are some residents....it certainly isn't the developer!

welcome to the forum! why do you ask about that date? you might want to give the exec offices of the villages a call to ask that question...sorry I don't have the tele number to give you...but if ya found totv - ya can probably find the exec off number! and please share their response to you if ya get one!

I'm in Las Vegas. I've been to the villages twice and should be there the first part of next year. Tired of gambling. I'd rather take my chances with the lotto.

Villages sales reps have been telling prospects that build out would occur in two years since at least as early as 2006.
