To those who responded--and I truly do not know how many at this point---we are playing at my house, 1662 Latta Court, Sunset Pointe, 6:30pm tonight. If there are too many, we can certainly set up in my dining room as well, so someone bring another set. And we can all work something out from there. Thanks, everyone, for responding to this. AND, I am not saying that all the Rec Ctrs. treat "newbies" the same but judging by the reception I got at Miona and last week at Colony Cottage I'll be happy to play at my own(or someone else's) home. And also make some new friends.

Got back to Villages to get to your event at your house tonight. Would you please post what was decided for future get togethers for those that could not attend.
Thanks!

I prefer to play in the evening, not during the day. Thanks. We actually had 3 of us play tonight, and hopefully will have a couple more next week. Very enjoyable

I am new in Pinellas, have never played but would love to learn. Can offer my home and certainly would buy a set if needed. If a newbie fits into anyone's plans or anyone has the patience to teach, I would love to be included. BonnieFedor@gmail.com

I would love to talk to you. I play with a nice group of 4, but I am leaving to go back North in 3 weeks. I know, they'd like to continue playing. Please email me off this website, it's just easier to communicate that way for me. thx.

If anyone is still interested in joining a group, please email me off this website. It's easier to communicate that way for me. I play with a very nice group. We are 4, but I am leaving to go back North (until October). I know the other 3 would love to continue playing, and it's a wonderful group.

We will be moving there next year. Mah Jongg is in my blood. I am a third generation player. I just sold my online website selling mah Jongg sets after 15 years. Needless to say I look forward to playing when we arrive.
