Does anyone have the phone number to the women shelter ?I have a lot of new things to Donate and I do not want to take it to Goodwill Thanks

You'd need to call the police department for instructions on where to donate things. Any womens' shelter in the area would not publicize their location or phone number, to protect the women living in them.

Stay away from goodwill !! I was disgusted to see them flying in a private jet to a fishing tournament at old Bahama bay.

The actual shelter addresses (as I mentioned up-thread) are not publicized. The whole point of having these womens' shelters is to protect the women from their abusers. Pretty pointless if the abuser can find the address on a website.

But yes their offices are on rte 44 in Leesburg (I did a google search just now). Their website is old, hasn't been updated since 2020. Hopefully all the info is still valid.

I donated a lot of my late wife's clothes to that shelter. I thought that they would be given to the battered women as in many cases they go to the shelter with only the clothes on their back. Found out they operate a thrift store where they sell the donated items and according to the staff, they use the proceeds to fund the operation.

First Baptist Church doesn't have any battered womens' shelters. They have a drug rehab facility for women.
