We use Buffalo Ridge Animal a Hospital off if CR 466. Great vets and they have 24/7 emergency service. Their second location is in Pinellas Plaza. They also board.

We also use Buffalo Ridge, though it's for our cat not a dog. Very caring staff, vet.

We use Park Heights on 441, Dr. Manganaro and Dr. Valdez. I can recommend them highly. But there is something to be said for using Buffalo Ridge because that is where the 24-hour emergency center is located.

I will not change, because both the vets at Park Heights display genuine affection for and compliments on our dog and his personality, and he can't wait to get in there. Wags his tail furiously, picks up his own leash and runs himself through the door and paws up on the counter. That says it all for me. But I don't think you can go wrong with either vet at either place.

We have recently moved to The Villages as well. A resident told me about Dr. Drum at Colony Plaza. Made an appt with him. We have had good results with him, I believe he is also a Village resident.

We used Banfield at PetSmart for many years, and were very satisfied with both the cost and the level of care.

Dr Porter at Animal Care clinic in Wildwood plaza. He's a good diagnostician with reasonable prices.
