Smile New to Paige Villas in Sanibel

After 15 months of trying to sell our home in Virginia we have finally made it to TV and couldn't be happier. While this is our first post on TOTV we have been following the site for the last two years and have gathered so much useful information here that our move was made so much easier. The past two weeks since we have moved in to our new home have been both exhilerating and exhausting. Hopefully our exhaustion going forward will be simply from living and loving the lifestyle.

Looking forward to being able to make some useful contributions to this forum in the future and to meeting many of the other contributors.

Welcome to TV and congrats on selling your home! We'll be in the same state of exhaustion after we settle in 2 weeks on our home in TV : )

Thanks to all for the warm welcome.
We moved to TV from Greene county, VA (near Charlottesville) and have downsized from 4000 sq ft. to a lovely 3 br CYV (Paige Villas). While we donated, gave away, sold and trashed tons of "stuff" we are still trying decide how much of what we brought we really need. I'm sure much more will find it's way to Goodwill, etc.

Welcome! We are in the process of moving from a 3800 sq. ft. house in NC to our 3 BR CYV. I'm having a hard time parting with my "stuff", but am doing as you have - donating, giving to family, and throwing away. My hubby has no problem parting with stuff, but I think I have a hoarding gene. Anyway, glad you have been successful and I hope to be at the point you are by December 20th - a few "tears" from now!

Welcome to Sanibel! We are from Northern Virginia and moved to Sanibel this past April. The exhaustion goes away and in comes "I can't believe we are living a wonderful lifestyle." Enjoy!
