Smile Loving The Villages!

My husband and I are newbies here in the Villages. Already accidentally drove a golf car on Buena Vista! Yikes!!! Bless the hearts of the nice couple who slowed their car down long enough to ask if we knew we weren't allowed on BV. In California -- there would have been some very rude horns blaring at us! Anyway, we know EXACTLY where those little 'no carts' signs are now :-)

We have been on a short visit here before our final move to our new home in St. James Village in late December. Can't wait to be HOME for good!

I am going to put a "NEW GOLF CART DRIVER" sign on our golf cart when I start driving (if I survive the lessons from hubby).

Hey.....we did Morse (lol). It beats taking your car on one of the cart paths thru a tunnel. That has been known to happen.

If this is all that happens to you - then you will be fine. Enjoy your new home.

Welcome to TOTV and eventually your new home! I close in the beginning of December and am dreading the mistakes I am sure to make in my golf cart! I am sure I will learn quickly, but not without an error or two! Good luck and enjoy TV!

Wife and I drove a golf cart in TV this week for the first time and got lost four times, drove onto a golf course and almost drove on 441. Whew! Baptism under fire.
First time I saw TV and all the carts it reminded me of the bumper cars I use to ride when I was a kid.
