Default New to TV & TOTV- moving into Charlotte

After 2 visits, 1 being the lifestyle preview, we were lucky enough to find what we were looking for and will be settling on our new house in Village of Charlotte next month. Can't WAIT!! Looking for recommendations on lawn and / or pest companies that others on TOTV can recommend......can't wait to make TV our home!!

Rick&Nadine, Welcome to TOTV and congratulations on your home purchase. I'm a wannabee, so I can't give recommendations on lawn or pest companies, but I'm sure TV veterans will be able to provide recommendations.

Welcome to Charlotte! Where in Charlotte will you be moving to? Believe me, you'll get plenty of ideas from neighbors and TOTV posters. Just be sure to check everyone out before you make any commitments. Have been living in Charlotte since January, and I can tell you truthfully that you will be bombarded when you arrive...take your time, and don't sign anything until you've had a chance to pull yourself together and read everything you're given. It was overwhelming for us! If you're interested, I will be happy to PM you with some of the folks we've dealt with and have been satisfied with.

We ultimately had our decision down to the Iris model or Jasmine, we ultimately went with a slightly changed up Jasmine model.

'applesoffh' we will be on Yarborough Way. We would be delighted if you would PM us with some of the folks you have dealt with and are satisified with as we feel that people with experience in this area are the ones to get our info from. We have heard from others that we will definitely be BOMBARDED with stuff when we get there.......I am sooooo looking forward to this next phase in our lives!!

Thank you to all who posted!! Can't wait to move in!!!!

Applesoffh has given you excellent advice.

Welcome to you both. You will find many friendly folks on this forum and in your new neighborhood.

You will have a hard time believing how wonderful this town is. I am still happy and incredulous after five years and two homes.

You have made the right choice.

Welcome to the neighborhood. We chose Deans for lawn maintenance, pest control, etc literally everything outside. One call takes care of anything. We are very happy with them.

Thanks for the info, I heard another recommendation for them as well. Do you have a telephone # for them?

Welcome to the Village of Charlotte. We also live on Yarborough Way and we love this village. We have so many great neighbors and you will too. I will PM you with the names of our lawn and pest control contractors. See you soon!
