Default batman's lot!

Hey batman! I think I finally the right lot. It has the fire hydrant and green post so I think it's yours. Nice view of the lake!

Default House Progress

Hi Everyone! Here's the latest on the house. The sheetrock is up and the first coat of mud has been applied. The stucco for the outside has been delivered and waiting application.

Janice and I met our first neighbors, Rick & Ruth, on Thursday. They have the home directly across the street from us. Great people! Can't wait to start the get togethers!

That is the right lot. Thanks for the pic. I see they added the SOLD sign since we visited. Looks like your home is progressing daily. Did you get the opportunity to take pictures inside before the drywall went up? I whould like to do that so I will know exactly what is behind the drywall on each wall. May come in handy if you plan to drill holes or run wires.

I did look at the framing before the drywall went up. The back of the master closet is lumber framed with steel on the sides...go figure. Progress is being made!

Hello fellow Gilchristers, (Gilchristians?) (Gilchristonians?)!
I am coming down on Sept 5th for my design review and am SO excited!!!! How did I miss this thread? WV-the progress on your place is amazing! Hope to meet up with some of you during my all too short visit! I am on Amherst Way, lot 25, and anticipating some parties down the line! I'm all in for that! Nice to hear from so many who have purchased!

Just to give everyone an update on the build. The outside is totally painted as well as the first coat of paint inside. The driveway, sidewalk and lanai are poured. I was over at the house this afternoon and the tile is complete in the LR, DR, hallways and bathrooms. The masons were finishing the kitchen. I cannot believe how quick everything has gone. Pics will follow tomorrow! Can't wait for the first party!!!!

Looks like we will have a great neighborhood! Definitely looking forward to some block parties! I think I'm going to really like it in TV! What. An awesome group of people!

I guess we need to start a poll about that we want to be called...rofl. Anyone have any suggestions? I've heard Gilchristers, Gilchristians, etc. The floor is open for nominations!

My pick three in order!
Gilchristers
Gilchristians
Gilchristonians

Unless someone out there has more suggestions? This could be fun!

They are welcome to use the fire hydrant if they can survive the scarecrow:

I wonder how it tells a animal from a human. Of course, maybe it's designed to work on both!!!

As promised, here are the most recent pics of the house. Garage doors installed, lanai screened, all of the tile installed and vinyl put down in the craft room. Extremely happy with the progress so far!
