HotRod . . . Rusty needs help. He's been up in unit 210 taking pictures and picking out lots for me. I had to buy the Corona Brewery to repay him this time. I got a good deal on the truck

A-4, did you pick out your lot in 210? We purchased ours on line with many pictures too. We are very pleased. Got it the day it was released.

On my way A-4 as soon as I can! Corona in hand! Boy, do we all owe Rusty a lot. I believe he will be a very rich man soon enough. But maybe we all will! After all, when everything comes together we'll all have each other! How much wealthier can one be than to be able to depend on one's friends? Yep, we've got it all!

Not yet official, but it's likely the next one.

They usually release on Fridays.

The lots are visible on the CCD site

Hi Guys,
Just checked with the cook;

Mince Pies are Fruit, Sultanas, Currents, Candied Peel etc in a pastry case and we have them both hot and cold with fresh cream poured over them - whoops, just slavered all down my shirt, sorry.

I will make sure Wendy brings her recipe book, (although I have never seen her use one when she makes them) I don't know how to make them, but I am good at eating them - yum yum

Default On the UK news

Just been watching a BBC news program and they have been covering Hurrican Sandy.

It is not often that they cover the weather in other parts of the world unless something bad is happening and this looks a really bad storm

We know you guys come from all over the USA and if any of you have friends or family in the areas that are likely to be affected by it, we pray that they do not get hurt or their property damaged.

Nature has a way of showing man just how puny he really is from time to time, but then in the aftermath, we often show ways in how far we are prepared to go for those who need help.

It's been non stop raining here in Ohio since Saturday with just a few breaks into the evening hours--now we're just waiting for the winds tonight. We heard that some our power companies and Red Cross are traveling East to help out--I can't imagine anymore rain and wind but unfortunately I think it's going to come. We pray that everyone will be safe and sound also as we have many relatives and freinds that will be affected!

I'm in Northern Virginia (near Dulles Airport). They just closed our school systems again for tomorrow (as a teacher, can't tell you how much I love this--just wish it wasn't for something so dangerous). The full force of the storm isn't even here yet and it's pretty scary. My daughter lives in Philadelphia and attends Wharton...they closed for 2 days but made that decision yesterday...they are supposed to get pretty much a direct hit. This storm is unbelievable...

Right now we are hoping that the storm will make landfall BEFORE high tide this evening. Regardless the devastation is so widespread that it is inconceivable! Not sure what we'll find when we return to our home, but at least, we are safe, which is the most important thing.

The latest I heard is that the storm is moving faster than anticipated. That means that it will arrive sooner, but the good news is that it is expected to hit landfall before high tide. The bad news is that the latest course appears to be headed for the Jersey shore, much of which is already underwater. And, that is a worse case scenario for Manhattan.
