I think we all agree and will keep you and our friends and family, and all devastated by Sandy in our thoughts and prayers!

Rusty, thanks for your call last night and I couldn't even get to the pictures right away. Busy, busy, busy today and finally a minute to get caught up!! I was SO amazed that in the course of just one day, so much has taken place! It's beyond belief! Was it much the same at your place? I am a bit worried about the carpet as it looks all wrong... I selected a much lighter color than what is appearing in the pics, but perhaps it is just the lighting. It is still almost 5 weeks to close for me and it seems they will be done so much sooner. Hope they don't overlook anything!!! I am chomping at the bit to get in there and see the finished product! Thanks again for being the official Gilly photographer! Love to see those posts!

Calc! Your lanai! I say it every day... I am wishing I would have thought to wrap that puppy around the side! It is truly amazing and I fully expect a party or two over there!! Also, the space on the inside seems amazing! Did you stretch your living area? It is awesome!! You will be caught up in no time and I am anxious to see your paint as well!

Junction29- I still am intrigued by the Elm and want to visit over there when you are finished! I expect we will all be using the "lanai bath" when you are hosting! Isn't it so exciting when you can begin to envision the final product? When those walls go on and the roof goes up, it gets exciting!

Twin-finally a bit of real progress. Now the fun begins when you see everything go up! Wish there was a bit more, but all of a sudden it will explode into action! Keeping my eye open for lots of pictures to come!

Hi A-4 looking forward to seeing which lot you end up with in 210. It will be mice to have you "up the road"! I think I should just keep all my paperwork at hand with so many questions from those starting their builds! My contract is 24 pages. Oh my!!!
Anyways, after searching twice through, I found the info about the flooring. It is Lincoln Plank Oak. Their product listing states ANLPO. I think it looks awesome and it is indeed hardwood. Good luck with all your choices, and I was able to see this wood in a model home.

I'm beginning to think I should! My dogs are quite expensive with one on prescription food. The other wheat free. I believe they eat better than me!!

We like our lanai, too! And just a party or two? You think so small! Haha! We did stretch the living area...but now, with all our new friends and soon-to-be friends, we should have stretched it more! Oh well...as long as the cooler is big enough that's all that's important!

Wish I could snap my fingers and have it be next summer!

Your lanai is making Jim jealous also-we are only going to be able to have a small birdcage when all is said and done but after this doom and gloom already up north anything outsdie is going to be welcome. I agree with you and next year can't get here quick enough

This is where it gets antsy as I want to see more each and every day but I know they need to keep it slow and steady and do a good job. I'm just in "awe" over the design of your home--can't wait to see it in January!

Wow! We could travel all around our neighborhoods! Looks like fun to me! Better than the bicycle type. However, does it require a designated driver?

Seems like a perfect solution! And when it's not being used for official neighborhood business, it could be Cooper's chariot!

Hi Everyone! What a day it's been. I don't know what kind of schedule these workers are on but they were at everyone's house past dark so there are no pics today. Please forgive me but I hate to get in their way. A quick walk by showed something going on inside of Calc's home, Junction29 has stucco and fancy doo dad's over the windows, Hotrod's birdcage is finished and she has power with a lit up lamp post in front. Twin had more foundation work going on with backfilling and compacting. The forms are up for the concrete. Everyone is making wonderful progress!! It's getting closer than y'all think!!! I think I've completed my final covert mission for A-4 but it's going to take a while to get off all of this camo grease and return the night vision goggles. The next few days will tell!!

Hope everyone has a great night!
