How about Friday or Saturday night at 8 at one of the CC's south of 466A.
You pick it Mayor.

Joe and I are leaving this am to come down for the weekend! Please post where and when and look for the Mini Cooper rolling in!
Looking forward to a warm weekend, Atlanta is expecting a wintery mix (for those of us from the North it means a little sleet and alot of panic ... but relatively cold!) Quilt show tomorrow at the Savannah Center, furniture and appliance shopping, shutter decisions and bank setups!
So looking forward to a get together and seeing all of you we met before and those of you lucky enough to be FROGS before us !!!

As always, we're up for a party.
Jim and I will be down the 5th thru the 11 and would love to meet the Gillylanders, keep us posted on time and location. Three inches of snow this morning and more on the way tomorrow!!! Our trip to TV can't come soon enough. Be well . . . .

we have Iphones, smart phones etc, we type while playing

Cruise on in, look for the Corona trailer by A-4's empty lot.

If he's not there look for the Mayor or that couple of trouble makers from the UK

It's not an empty lot any more Jimbo . . . . . I have lots of stakes and string now. As for the Corona trailer, I drank it all and used up all of the money from the Gilly Fund to pay off my beer bill. So it's BYO Corona, plus a little extra for me.

I can relate to all of the above. This morning in NJ it was 9 degrees and chance of snow tomorrow. When we come down on 2/5 it will be a week of the same, furniture and appliance shopping, ordering shutters, setting up a bank account, getting homeowners insurance, , etc., etc.

On the topic of a banking account; is it really necessary to use Citizens? I know they recommend it but both of my other banks, Wells Fargo & Bank of America have a presence. What have those of you that have gone before us done?

If you R not doing a mortgage thru Citizens, U don't need them

Default Gilly-bration tomorrow night

THERE WILL BE A GILLY-LAND GILLY-BRATION ON THE PORCH AT EVANS PRAIRIE FRIDAY NIGHT STARTING AT 8:00
Stop by, have a drink, and meet some of our new friends and neighbors. You don't have to be a Gilly to join us.

But, that again, is my humble opinion!!!

No there is no reason you need to use Citizens even if you get a loan there. It is just one of the many many businesses that the Morse family owns. You can use any bank!

Has something to do with a squeeeeeeeeky wheel...........

I can say this, 6 men re-tiled both bathrooms (walls) today this time under my supervision, now it's correct.
They admitted it could have been done better and I appreciated their honesty.

Only two things left on the punch list now, hope I don't need to call the Gran Poo-Pah again.

No snow right now to speak of but could have a foot be Friday. I just made our reservations for our next trip down, we won't be there until May 3rd. I am sure there will be many more homes up by then. Sounds like more great friends to meet. Who knows if Rich gets too antsy, I never know he will come home and will be ready to take a long drive down. February might be a good month. Hate to have a house sitting in the sunshine when we are up here wrapped in afghans. Have fun And take care everyone!
Linda--I totally agree with you--it's been too darn cold here up North--the other morning it was only 2 when I left for work!! Jim wants to just pack it up and move now. We're meeting the moving truck with the rest of our goods not until the end of March--way tooooooooooo long! I need to find employment ASAP. Hope everyone down there is enjoying the sunshine--have fun tomorrow night!
