Wow, I was there last week and there was nothing. Zipdoodle. Amazing. I will have to take a walk down and take a look. They started a house on the corner across from us last week and within one week, the walls are up. Shocking, it is. Don't be surprised when they put the roof on in one day. No kidding.

House Update: Went to the site on Sat and found rough-in plumbing and a notice from the inspector that there were deficiencies that needed to be corrected. Back to the site on Mon and found the inspector had signed off on the work so far and that rebar had been put into the footer ditches. There was another large batch of rebar laying by the ditches. I figured that we would have footers by Fri. Went back to today and this is what we found! Approximately 30 guys working on a completed slab laying block for the walls. I was stunned. The all looked like a bunch of worker bees. So it progresses!

Hey, WVMtnBoy! Your picture didn't post! Try again as I am excited to see the progress!

Wow it like 15 men on that crew,

It would really be great if you post a progress pic every week

Well, we go to the site about every other day so if people want to track the progress I'll be happy to snap a pic with the phone when we go! Let everyone enjoy the progress.

Well, I hate to admit it but we did miss the pouring of the foundation. Maybe I can find a way to get there every day for you guys!

As requested, here are more pics! The exterior walls are done and the roof joists are on the ground ready to go up. I was talking to my landlord today and he said that he has watched a complete roof go on in one day. My head is spinning...lol

Actually, I have been taking photos for the owner of the house across the street. Today, around 11 a.m. I took photos of a crane along with trusses and joists on the ground. I took a nap and when I awoke, the entire roof was on.

No pics of the trusses...we missed that part I'm sorry to say. Neighbors we ran into said it went very quickly with a crane and a lot of workers. This place is a well oiled machine and I love it!
