Default I have 2 questions

Hi everyone, I have 2 more questions as potential buyers in the Villages. Is it hard to get tee times in Jan, Feb and March? Someone told me it is very hard to get tee times in prime time for the bigger courses but what about the 9 hole courses? Also, I know last winter was unseasonably warm everywhere in Florida but do you find it a little nippy in January or February. I do not mind a little cool weather but hubby likes it warm. Not sure if he will be happy. Thanks in advance for all your replies.. Have a good day

ALl of the courses are pretty much tied up in Jan, Feb, Mar. It would depend on how often you play. Because of the points system, the less you play, the better your chances of getting a tee time once or twice a week.

I do not mind the cool weather. Some mornings you might want to wear gloves during the ride over to the courses. It does warm up by 10:00 usually. The wife has earmuffs for the cold weather.

During the 'winter' down here I've seen people dressed like they just hopped off a dog sled pass by another individual wearing a tank top, shorts and flip flops. It really only gets cold (e.g. frost) a couple days a year in this area. I guess the older you get, the colder it seems to be. :dontknow:

Like z said, the points system allows everyone the same opportunity to play all year round on both Executive and Championship courses. The green fees for the Championship courses are realy inflated during snowbird season though.

We have lived here seven years. We have only been turned down twice, for a tee time. If your tee time request isn't to restrictive you shouldn't have a problem.

People do dress differtently down here in the cool season ---see the photo below --- it was shot on the 4th tee at Country Club Hills when the temperature was in the mid 40's. Up North you may have been in a shirt. Days usually warm up to very comfortable temperatures. Altho courses are busy my tee times ar usually well within the time range requested.
