Question has the season started for love bugs in Central florida?

I think the love bugs come around the end of September/first of October for 30 days.

Oddly, the Love Bugs did not seem to be a problem in the west coast, Port Richey through Punta Gorda, while very heavy in the Orlando area. Your experience may vary.

How about earwigs? We are finding them inside our home.

I saw my first one on Saturday and probably a half dozen since then. I've seen them on the screening of our lanai. They're coming. I believe September is the month for them and by October they're gone.

English Ivy, thank you, we wanted to come down 9/26/08 for 8 days. Were are still working and plan to come that week. Love tv, the love bugs will not bother us when we move. They cannot be as annoying as five months of cold weather and snow.

Ha... you are right... nothing can be as annoying as months of cold and snow. There are actually 2 love-bug seasons, one right about now and then another one around May or June. Other tan messing up the front of your car, Love-bugs really don't bite like mosquitoes or flys and they don't sting like wasps. And they are gone as fast as they appear... only a few weeks.
