Default Plastic Scale Model Club

One of the reasons we moved down to TV are the clubs. My wife quilts and I see pages of quilting clubs. I build plastic scale models and was active in 3 clubs in MN. I don't see one in any of the club listings and was wondering if I need to look someplace else?

I've also spoken to people and they have also said if there isn't one start one, so if there isn't, how does one go about starting a club here?

There is also information about starting a club in the Recreation and Parks publication that comes out every Thursday. This week's edition has the club information on Page 38.

Great idea. Make sure you schedule shows to display your work. While I don't have the patience for such project I sure do love to see others' work.

I'll be headed to Orlando for Modelpolooza, it's a three day event. It's on 10/22-24th. You can get more information at Modelpalooza Vendors

Once we're full-time residents (every 2nd-3rd weekend now) I'd be happy to join. My brother and I belonged to a major modeling club in Decatur Georgia when we were growing up and our work was on par with many there. Haven't built a model in years but like most modelers I have a stash of kits ready to start.
