Hello, I am new to this site and newly interested in the Villages..It sounds like a delightful place to live..
I have a few questions.. I am looking at the mobiles in the older sections, Silver Lake or Orange Blossom .. I can't come for at least 5 years but i may buy beforehand if i can come with my two boys that are 11 and 12 for a yearly vacation... My thought is to buy ahead of time and rent it out by the month but i would like to visit with the boys at least once a year till i can retire there.. Can i bring children there for a visit and how long of a visit till i can move there? I am thinking of a month a year but would like to know the rules regarding this.. can anyone help? Thanks!!! Your 30 days per year are within the guidelines for visitors. However, do not assume you will rent the other 11 months, the rental market is very competitive.

Hi Bogie Scooter..
thanks for the reply.. yes, I am hoping to just rent 2-4 months to pay some of the expenses.. I have had other seasonal type property and I am hoping to find a similiar situation where i can visit but in the meantime just rent for the season.. thanks again, Dee |

I believe children under 19 can't live in TV. They can only visit.

According to the covenants and restrictions, people (whether they are your children or not) under the age of 19 can visit a maximum of 30 days per year. Once they become 19 years old, they may live permanently with you, if you live here permanently.
