Default Loved the lifestyle

We just got back to WV on Monday after spending a week in the Villages. We stayed in a great house in lake Sumpter Landing Creekside. We took the trolley ride, took the boat ride twice, saw a great movie, went to the Lake Sumpter square every night, did some shopping, found sweetbay store to get some food. We ate at lakeside landing, Gaters, Sonnys BBQ, red sauce, and Katie Bells. We got lost in the golf cart a few times. found 1 rec. center where we played pool and I swam. I taught my husband how to play shuffleboard. We met some really nice people. Saw the inside of a few homes We love it. I didn't realize that The Villages was SO big.
We have some work to do on our home before we can sell it but hopefully we will be villagers by next fall.

I'm do glad you had a nice visit. We really do have a beautiful place to live here. Ya'll come back now. Ya' hear?

Glad you enjoyed your visit. We visited last November and after our positive experience, decided to buy. So much to see and do!

Sounds much like our experience. We ended up buying before leaving. Love it there.

Yes, you can rent from the country clubs and play there or take to an executive course close by.

We are going for LSV in October. I heard about the trolley ride, but not about the boat ride. Where is that located and do we need reservations for trolley or boat ride?

If you take the Lifestyle visit you will get a coupon for the boat ride, no reservations needed.

Just like many others, we took the visit in June and closed in August.

Welcome to you folks from West Virginia. Your home state is beautiful and filled with warm and gracious folks. Your capitol dome shines with the same gold found in it's residents hearts.

I hope you will find a place here that is just to your liking.

Not much would make us leave Ohio, but this place won us over.

Kind wishes,
Gracie

Oh cool what other coupons are included?

Also curious if the units in the LSV include things like dish detergent, laundry soap, (or if I should bring along a few pods), sheets, toilet paper...

You can, but we have five Publix, three super Walmarts, several Winn-Dixie's, Aldi's, and soon two Sweetbays closeby. Tons of drugstores and all things you are used to such as Kohls, Sams, Target, Kirklands, Petsmart, BestBuy, Michaels, Joanns, Pier One, TJMaxx, Tuesday Morning, and many Bealls and Belks Department stores.

Almost every chain restaurant too.

The Trolley Ride is free and they usually have a very personable narrator on board who tells you quite a bit about The Villages. It is a must do, almost immediately and will give you some of the scope of this huge place before you get lost on your own.

PS. Definitely Toilet paper and I don't remember about the detergent. You will find everything thought out and that is what is gonna win you over.

Hurry and don't forget to call us or send us a PM if you want to see inside a real home.

Best wishes to you all who are planning on purchasing or doing a LSV. Hope you have safe travels and a wonderful experience in visiting and purchasing. I remember my enthusiasm when first visiting and making the final decision to leave Indiana. We are happy and settled here now, it's home.
