I have a 49 cc scooter in Maryland and am considering bringing it to TV. It would require putting FL tags on it. No tags are required in MD if the scooter is 49 cc or less. It may be easier to bring my 250 cc Honda Nighthawk that is registered and tagged in MD. However, it would be fun to have a scooter group. Dick

I heard that 49 cc and less scooters don't need Fla tags.

(Could be wrong tho)

Older thread on 49 cc Scooters:
50cc Scooters and motorized Bicycles

Redwitch sez plates are needed if driving on the roads.

There is a scooter company, Scooterdepot, that advertises on TOTV. Does anyone know anything about them? I know they are "cheap" Chinese scooters, but I'm not looking for a daily ride, maybe just something a bit different than the cart once in a while.
