Yes we heard it. Flew low. It didn't look like a military jet but must have been. We were curious too.

Didn't fly around in a circle. There were four, flying low.

Who’s going to fess up? For many years in Urbana, a friend’s son would fly his F-4 Phantom low over the city to let his dad know he was thinking of him. Later, he would do the same while flying an F-16 which was very quiet in comparison.

I was at the Hadley post office when 4 of them flew over. They were so low I could practically read the lettering on the bottom. According to my hubby (a former Air traffic controller) they were A10's. He said they were probably buzzing the area because they were showing off for their grandparents. I've also heard they do practice bombing in Ocala National Forrest.

Urbana Ohio, right? Hubby was an air traffic controller at both Springfield Air National Guard where many F-16's were based and at the Dayton International Airport for many years. He would agree with you. Yellow Springs and surrounding cities would complain alot as the F-16 pilots flying low over their city. Hot dogging is the name I've heard for it.
