Question storm preparation

visited TV, put a down on a lot in Fernandina, building in 2013, unfortunately, we'll be ready to move in a few years. Just curious, did anyone see storm/hurricane shutters? and does anyone know if generators are allowed?

We see generators around TV, and some have shutters, etc. But having lived in FL for 20+ years, I have not opted for either because of where we are in the State. Just don't see the need since we are so far in-land. I see many folks from up north moving here with a paranoia about hurricanes. They are not that big a deal here, IMHO (and experience).

Just click on the Search button above and type "Sinkhole". You'll get a quick education in the newest peril to bother Florida insurance companies.

Hi Asianthree. I've been reading all I could about sinkholes in TV and found that most are occurring in the northern part of TV. Is this true? Do you know if anything is being done about them, if anything can be done.
