Default To All Retired Law Enforcement Officers In TV

Since so many people are moving to TV from all across the country where there are many different rules, laws and regulations here's a suggestion. Why not form a committee of retired LEO's and come out with a handbook or a list of rules that apply to TV. As we read on TOTV there seem to be many gray areas in TV that people aren't sure what is or isn't allowed. I know this would take some time as you'd have to coordinate with local LOA's but I'm sure it would be worthwhile. You might even be able to get The Daily Sun to publish them.

This sounds like a good idea.

I really didn't understand the thread about someone being ticketed for drinking alcohol in their golf cart while sitting in the square. Was it becuase the key was in the ignition?

It would be nice to know the what the law says.

I don't know. Just sayin........

Sounds good but first they would have to be versed in the Florida interpretation of all of the laws since many laws are different by state.

For example, seat belts are not required in all states. Helmets are not required for bicycle or motorcycle riders in all state. And the list goes on.

Cool

I think I'm with Z on this one.... There would be nothing worse than getting erroneous information concerning the various laws in and around TV.

I do like the concept though...

Just a note for those interested... only one state has no seat belt law and that's New Hampshire according to wikipedia. For more on this see:

Why not just go the the local law enforcement and ask them to come and give a talk on the loca & statel traffic laws, alcohol consumption laws, both in bars and in public, and whatever else is on your mind that you would like to know about. That way you get the correct information and just might learn something useful instead of getting it second hand.
