Smile How long for each of you?

Hubby and I were wondering today, who on this site has actually been lucky enough to live in TV the longest. We have been lurking behind the scenes and reading posts for about a year now and it still sounds as if all of you are in the euphoric, honeymoon phase of your lives there. Since we still have a year to go before we can move, we call this our engagement period, where we still get butterflies each time we visit, feel sick when we have to leave & count the days till we can visit again. I guess the real question we are asking is how long does that "I can't believe we are lucky enough to live here" phase actually last?

Closing in on 4 years since we signed a contract and I'm still in awe of this place. The lustre has not worn off at all and I eagerly anticipate every beautiful day.

Eight years for me and fourteen years for hubby residing here in paradise. We met here in TV and have been happily married for four years and loving our life here. How could anyone not enjoy this wonderful lifestyle????

My husband and I lived here year round from 2004 until 2007, moved away, then moved back a year ago this past Wednesday. You see, it took moving away to really appreciate TV. We are thrilled to be back and never moving again. TV is the greatest place in the world.

Bought the site a couple of days after Hurricane Frances, just after Labor Day 2004. Closed on a completed house 24 Jan 05 and have been physically here since 24 Feb 05 - that is, except when I'm traveling!

I wouldn't be anywhere else. So much happening, so many new friends, and even some old ones suddenly wondering if I have room for them for a couple of days!

My dear neighor zcaveman has been here a long time. Surprised he hasn't responded. Z, where are you?

Hmmm, maybe he's out drinking kool-aid.

We put the house up in 1989 and retired, and moved here full time, in 1994. The honeymoon isn't over yet.

I too am looking to buy at the village. Good to know the feeling you have for TV is still going strong.

What an interesting post. You lived in TV for three years and then moved away .. I'll bet you have an interesting story to tell.
