That is SMART to rent in order to get a "feel" for the different Villages. I would say that it is best to include the SUMMER MONTHS in your rental time interval. Because it is VERY hot and getting HOTTER each year. Different people have differing tolerances for high heat and humidity. Also there is more mold and pollen in inland Florida than up north.

Yes a 12 month lease! I've lived in FLA before and it does get nice and toasty June - Sept. That's my fav time to head to the beaches.
