Default Visitors Insurance

I am looking at quotes from the following Insurance Companies that offer short term health insurance to visitors. The plans are pretty much similar.
But I am wondering if anyone has had dealing with any of these and if they have had any issues when being refunded.

Are there any pitfalls I should be aware of?

Rates from these are better than my current insurer Alberta Blue Cross. I do have an existing health condition Type II Diabetes which does increase the premiums even though the condition is stable.

Sorry, I can't speak to the insurance companies that you have listed. However, check travel insurance coverage through InsureMyTrip: Travel Insurance - Compare & Review.
We travel a lot throughout the year and our US insurance policy (a medicare supplemental) does not cover us when out of the country. So we purchase an extra ( very reasonably priced) yearly policy that will cover us anywhere. We actually use Travelguard-which is highly rated; but if you check on insuremytrip they have many many insurance companies and plans to choose from. They also cover Canadians.

Thanks.

I checked Travelguard online as I have used it before for short trips, but they say they cannot quote on my wife on a combined policy as she has not yet reached her 60th birthday. Every time I enter the info it says it cannot produce a quote. Maybe I will call them, as my wife will be 60 before we leave on our drive south and they possiblw will give a phone quote.
