Default West Virginia Fans

I noticed there are clubs for everything, including Rutgers and Penn State. Is there any Mountaineers fans living in the villages? WVU has one of the largest fan base so I was surprised not to see a club.

I heard there was one person somewhere on the historic side, but I think it's an urban legend.

Do you have a reference to support your statement (that I have put in bold) that WVU has one of the largest fan bases?

Is that the same team with the WV logo, where the v is kind of under the W? If so, I know where someone lives with that logo on his license plate.

There is a West Virginia Club that meets at Paradise Recreation Center every month. I'm sure you'll find many WVU fans there. I see the flying WV all over the place, but not like a lot of the larger universities in more populated states. For that reason the fan base may not be as large as others, but WVU definitely has one of the most loyal fan bases I know of. I moved from WV a long time ago and I have other team loyalties now, but as long as they're not playing each other I'm a Mountaineer fan!

LET'S GO MOUNTAINEERS!

off the top of my head I don't know where I heard it. Just glad to know that there is a fan base in the villages.
