Default We are finally here

Well, my official retirement starts tomorrow and we begin the drive from Indy to Collier on Friday. We have been lookers for a long time and finally bought a house in February. Will be Frogs on Saturday. Excited and apprehensive at the same time. Leaving family and friends but looking forward to making new friends. This site has been very helpful and encouraging for us.

Thanks to all

Tom and Sherron

Just put on a recording of "Indiana Wants Me..." as you head south.

BTW, there are both Purdue and IU clubs if you're one of us (or them).

Congratulations on your new chapter in life. Were not far behind you and will be arriving in Collier September 6th.

We feel the same way about leaving family and friends and I get melancholy at times. I have to remind myself we have been dreaming of this for years and family & friends will come visit. It will all be good and we will make new friends in TV.

How exciting to be on your way. We are just excited about coming on May 7th for our first visit. We will be looking at the possibly of being in TV for our new chapter of our life and will be living family and friends too. It is scary and exciting at the same time.

Lots of Indiana folks in Villages. Welcome. There's an Indiana club with over 300 members plus an IU club. Also Purdue. I'm from Bloomington. Been here just over a year. Love it

We vacationed in TV for 7 years, and finally (after retirement) bought and moved here our 8th year (June 2014). We're full-time frogs. Each day we pinch ourselves and ask, "Are we really here?!" We love it 100%.

Get ready to meet LOTS and LOTS of very nice people. Get ready for filling your calendar with varied activities. Get ready for...fun!

Welcome Newbies!
I'm your neighbor in Gilchrist, just north of Collier. If you are looking for a church home, Grace Tabernacle is about 5 miles from you. It's listed as a sticky under the churches forum on totv's lifestyles section.
ooorah for retirement!
