Default Buying a golf cart

Hi everyone at TV. We (Terry and Tasa Stoyer) have arrived at our new home in Amber villa. We love it even if it is raining. Arriving Friday we now need a golf cart. We looked at golf carts at Golf Cart concept. Has anyone bought from GOLF CART CONCEPT? If so dId you have a good experience with them or is it best to stay within the Villages when. buying? Any input would be appreciated.

We highly recommend Carts and Clubs in Ocala. Great price and service if you want a Yamaha. Many stock upgrades over the same cart sold by The Villages Golf Carts.

And we highly recommend The Villages Golf Cars over Carts and Clubs. Carts and Clubs is a la cart pricing that ends up "nickel and dime"-ing you to death. Yamaha EFI Gas is the way to go, we are extremely satisfied.

I have to agree. Carts and Clubs in Ocala put a lot of "fluff" that increases the basic price. We were totally disappointed by them.

We looked at a couple of other places and finally ended up buying from
The Villages golf store. We went to all 4 of them to find the cart we wanted.
(I wanted a nice color).
They were all very knowledgeable and very patient.
I would recommend them highly.

Another vote for The Villages Golf Carts.
We bought ours from Sal at Lake Sumter Landing and he was great.
I like the idea that this company has been selling and servicing golf carts for a long time and will continue to do so.

I did research most Golf Carts that are easily available in and near the Villages here are my results.

1) EZGO....CR44, Wildwood
2) Yamaha. Carts & Clubs, Ocala CR 441/27
3) Club Car, Lady Lake CR 441/27
4) Par Car, Leesburg, CR 441/27

You will find that Yamaha is by far the most popular cart here and should you go with Yamaha Carts and Clubs is a good choice. However for my research EZGO came out on top for a variety of reasons, with Yamaha a close second.

Carts and Clubs in Ocala had higher prices then The Villages golf stores.
And it's a half hour away.
I cannot understand anyone recommending them due to their higher prices and inconvenience!

I bought mine from Carts'n Clubs even though I could have gotten %15 off as a village employee from the Villages . I like the fact that the enclosure is far superior , that the wiring is better ,& yes also thet the speed is set so you don't crawl uphill . Their service has been outstanding. I bought my 2013 EFI back in November of 2012 and have put 9700 miles on it and am extremely satisfied!! So these are the reasons I would recommend them. Oh and by the way the starting price was the same as the Villages!!!

Yes the starting price is the same but Carts and Clubs STOCK golf carts on the floor ready for purchase were well over The Villages due to the fluff accessories they put on every one of them!

You don't have to buy off the floor! I did because I was impatient plus I liked the color combo but you do have the choice of ordering one,

You are fighting a losing battle. Most of the posters on TOTV are enamored with Carts and Clubs.

For what its worth, I agree totally with you.

I bought my Yamaha from Carl at TV Golf Cars in LSL. Carl was great at creating a custom ordered cart. The cart was ready when they said and everything was explained for care and use. 2 days into usage I had a small problem with a broken shock. Carl personally brought me a cart to use where I stopped. They fixed the cart within 2 hours. You can't beat their personal service!
