Can anyone suggest a place near the Villages to go pick oranges next week?

Many thanks!

Default Orange picking success

We ended up going to a place off Rainey Trail right next to Lakeside Landings to pick oranges today. The gentleman who owns the place was super nice and we had the place to ourselves. We got 2 (5 gallon) buckets of oranges for $12.00. He also has lots of grapefruit and pecan trees. They are not open all the time but he puts the sign out by the road for "u pick" and opens the gate to his property when he is there. Thought I'd pass along if anyone else was looking for a local place to pick.

Default Orange tasting and price

The oranges are juicy and yummy. I have been told (by locals) that $6 for a bucket is a great price. Enjoy!

Default Oranges

Directions: Take Buena Vista Blvd to Rainey trail. Go just past Lakeside Landings (same side) and if they are picking that day, they will have a sign out and the gate open.

Oranges/Grapefruit: We didn't pick grapefruit so I can't say what type they are. We picked before the big frost - not sure if they had any damage. Wish I had better answers.

Go golf at Baseline, we picked oranges last year, they also at times have buckets in front of the clubhouse with oranges to take. drive in the older sections and people have them out by the curb for taking.

Question Picking Oranges...Does anyone have a phone number or address?

The family is coming late tomorrow and staying for 4 days. They would like to go pick oranges. Can anyone give me more info on somewhere to go? We have only been in TV for 3 weeks and have been so busy working on the house, we have not had time to find anything.
