On February 11, 2015 the Amenity Authority Committee awarded the contract for the demolition and reconstruction of the new El Santiago Recreation Center. District Staff is currently working with the contractor to finalize the construction drawings for permitting.^ The demolition of the existing structure will take place in the next few weeks. The interior of the new recreation facility will be 7600 sq. ft., comparable to other Village Recreation Centers in the community.
