A Geotechnical Engineer will begin test borings on the Morse Boulevard Bridge located over Lake Sumter on Thursday, April 21, 2016 and Friday, April 22, 2016. ^ On Thursday, the golf cart path over Morse Bridge will be temporarily closed for approximately 20 minutes, beginning at 7:30am and will temporarily close again later in the day when the work is complete. On Friday, April 22nd, the outside northbound lane will be closed all day while the drilling on the east side of the island takes place. We anticipate the lane closure to begin in the morning and last for approximately 6 to 8 hours.Please use caution and pay attention to all directional and detour signage.
