RESCISSION OF A RESIDENTIAL PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE FOR THE NORTH SUMTER UTILITY SERVICE AREA (NSU)
March 16, 2016

The March 14, 2016 Precautionary Boil Water Notice (PBWN) for the NORTH SUMTER UTILITY SERVICE AREA (NSU) is hereby rescinded after receiving clear bacteriological tests. Please allow water to run for five minutes at each tap to flush the lines with safe water. Remember, now that the PBWN is lifted, you should discard the first bin full of ice dropped.

If you have any questions, you may contact District Utility Customer Service at 352-750-0000 Mon. through Fri. 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or the Water Plant Operator at 352-753-1756 after hours and on weekends.
