He can speak here because we wanted the UN headquaters here. One can argue that this permits many unfriendly countries additional access to spy and create mischief. The speeches should be the least of your concerns.

just goes to show that a timely and pertinent subject can be addressed by some without skidding into a personal jousting match.

There are very many worldly subjects, like Alma-deena-nut-job's speech, that have far reaching effects on our lives.....and should be discussed....somewhere!!!

For me, among all the so called sanctions that are "supposedly" levied against Iran (which to date have zero impact) I would like to see him barred from being allowed in our country....at least at a minimum, not allowed to address the UN.

He is the poster child for terrorism and should not be glorified with ANY of our freedoms.

Not listening to his speech is equal to sticking one's head in the sand. Listen and watch him closely. Other than that, his 747 was parked at Andrews AFB during the speech for "safe" keeping. Guess they must trust us a wee bit.

I don't care what anyone has to say once he has said he wants to annihilate me. Nothing after that counts.

It ALL bears keeping attention! He doesn't especially like us here in the U.S. which should give ALOT of folks pause, especially with the comments he has been making!

Whether I or anyone agree with all the posts, is this not a political comment and/or reference which has been deemed to be inappropriate on this board ?

We've reviewed the thread for political bias and have found that it is a discussion of current events and not a partisan thread. If it becomes such it would be subject to moderating. Thanks
