The mandatory evacuation order for SW FL did not happen until Tuesday night. People did not have enough time to get out.
The storm track was for Tampa. We had 3 hurricanes in Naples in our 24 years there. Never a hurricane like Ian. Still waiting to hear from friends.

We lived in Fort Myers for years. Went through many hurricanes. Charlie was bad. Nothing like this. Saw a graphic yesterday that showed how Charlie would fit inside of Ian’s eye. Unbelievable!
