Default Anyone Going To The Ginn Open ?

We have a group going on Saturday. I know play starts at 8:30 but am thinking that the leaders won't be teeing off until much later.

Anyone have any hints or ideas that will help make it a great day ? Should we just pick a spot to watch from (where) or maybe follow a player ?

Thanks

One plan:
Start at the practice tee and watch these girls 'hit a golfball!' Then head to one of the putting greens ...... and then to the sand shot and chipping area. Then follow your favorite players.

In 2006/2007 I asked the tournament director about a bus or two to be sent to the Villages for a roundtrip. She tried but .... TV powers would have none of it.

Tell them that anyone can send a bus to TV. Just cannot pick up at the bus stations in LSL or SS. Need to arrange pickup at one of the shopping centers around TV. This is better then the bus stations anyway because there is more parking.

We went Friday, bought our tickets online. When we got there, a fellow we started talking with mentioned he got his ticket for free. Apparently on Wednesday, there was a coupon in the Orlando paper for a free ticket to be used as general admission - I think it was only for Friday, not sure. Anyways, its something to remember for next year. Maybe they'll do the same thing.
