Make sure it is compliant with government standards, especially if this laminate was originally purchased in China. Just watched 60 minutes report where chemical levels were not up to safe standards and resulted in harmful emissions.

My guess would be to check any non-American made "discounted" laminate. I'll bet it shows up from other suppliers as well.

Many folks probably don't realize there's formeldahyde in our kitchen cabinets, our furniture, carpeting too (??) as well as many products in home-building. It's a wonder we're all walking to tell about it.
