Default Best Diagnostics Garage

I need to make a decision related to whether or not to get rid of my existing car and buy a new one, or whether to run it into the ground, making repairs as needed.

I am looking for an honest diagnostics garage. AAA lists Goodyear Auto Service in our immediate area. Has anyone used a reputable garage which they would recommend for this purpose.

Greg Smith Automotive, located just off of 27/441 in Bellview, gives very honest and reliable service and they are interested in keeping you as a customer rather than just ripping you off.

AAA for Goodyear is headquarters only not the local one by Home Depot in Lady Lake.
I'm returning my auto next week (20 May 2014) due to poor work and dishonest work. I caught service manager in a lie...said I needed an oil change. I change my own oil and had only 535 miles since last change. Told him that is a scam. I keep solid records including every time we fill up with gas. Wrote 5 page letter to head store manger and he said he will take care of the problems. we will see. VERY POOR SERVICE. Other items: New brakes all around, now they don't work properly (already back once), added 1/2 quart too much oil (I drained and redone myself), Flushed cooling system and it's 1 1/2 inch below cold full mark.

Goodyear stores in general have a bad reputation all over the nation. There are multiple reports and court cases about over-selling and poor practices. I do not think you would be well served at ANY Goodyear store.

I would recommend Richard Snider at Tri-County Automotive on 441 Across from Publix & Walgreen's.

Did you notify AAA that perhaps this facility should not be on their list?

Should have stated BBB is for Goodyear headquarters not AAA. Took auto back and they corrected all their problems, however service manager when I said brakes as still making a swishing sound said " my brakes do the same thing" Should have kept his mouth shut "swishing sound was due to improper brake job and they redone everything. Head manager is good (he had a mishap and wasn't there that day). Anyway Service Manager left the area when I went to pick up my auto and a super mechanic Chris who redone all the work told me what was done and store manager said they wanted me to drive the car with him riding. Said don't have to by what you told me it was finally done correctly. As long as service manager is there I won't recommend Goodyear in Lady Lake. Everything now works super.
