Default The Good Samaritan Law in Florida.

We had a short discussion about the FL Good Samaritan Law at Doggie Doo Run Run this morning.

This should be an interesting topic in the Villages especially because I have come across fallen golf cart drivers, pedestrians, bike riders, etc. over the nine years I have been here in the Villages. I often have wondered what kind of aid I could give and whether I should?

This article looks quite good about that. I know that when my father fell and hit his head and started bleeding rather heavily a number of months ago, I did everything I could to get out of the way of the Emergency responders. My father did not want help but we called 911 anyway because he did not seem in any state to make rational decisions.

The FL law seems to have a lot of holes if this is how it still remains. The article writer points out the obvious ones.
