Fans of this sort of thing may want to check out the upcoming "No Man's Sky" game when it arrives this coming June. Although there's a danger you may never leave your house again if you get too deeply into it.

I spent almost 10 years playing World of Warcraft, so I can attest to this.

I'm thinking the same thing about Everquest Next, which is on the horizon. (And it's 'sister' game...Landmark...which is already playable in beta-testing phase.)

By the way, I'm thinking of starting a new thread, but let me test the waters here just a bit...

Would any of you consider taking part in a MMORPG guild...a group of players who work together to prosper in what is in effect an online fantasy/sci-fi/both world, galaxy or universe? Crafting, combat (as much or as little as you like), traveling the virtual world, et. Al.

I plan to join in one of the new games soon, like Everquest Next (No Man's Sky?). It would be wonderful if a group of folks from TV would consider doing the same. As an alternative...I've been a long time member of another large gaming guild...The Old Timers Guild (guess what we have in common ). They will have a significant presence in Everquest Next. (They already are involved in many games.) We could even consider joining in with them. In MMORPG's, the more friends the better is almost always true!!

Anyway, just kinda thinking out loud at this point. I will be joining EQNext or something similar soon. Doing it as part of a TV group would be even better.

Post a reply if you'd even consider such a thing.

I'd consider it.
