you mean a "poor man's Porsche"? Had a 2001 & loved it, was a hoot to drive, they handle so good. Have owned several Mazdas over the years & never had any serious problems with any of them. The best thing about a Miata: you can completely wash one in about five minutes. Very easy to maintain.

This past summer, we stayed at a hotel in Pincher Creek Alberta. Staying at the same hotel was a Miata Club from Idaho, we figured there were about 50 in all and the owners were on a week long road trip. It was obvious the cameraderie amonst the group and the pride in their Miata's. I have test driven a couple and am still considering getting one. I would have no hesitation in buying one.

I have a 1990 Miata (bought it from a friend in 1991). It has 204,000 miles on it. Never any problems. Fun to drive. BTW, the Villages Miata club meats next Monday, 10 AM at Bacall rec center.

I have a '99 10AV. Bought it new. It is bulletproof! Great car to drive and customize. I also had a MGB back in the 70's and this is a much better car and so fun! Most used ones are very well taken care of, if looking used.
