we have comcast and you can block up to a certain amount of numbers.. You hit *60 and then follow prompts. it is convenient to block annoyance callers.

I know how to block a number that called me on my I phone but can't figure how to block a text sender. I keep getting one from an eye doctor that wants my business.

I get two calls each day for the last 4 months. One am one pm. They change the number each day. Terrible.
I also got a call from an old friend in Jersey asking for money....I told him I'm a retired investor living quietly in Florida to finish out the best day of my life..no money for you. |

Sometimes I get texts from companies and they say if you don't want to receive texts to reply with the word STOP. See if that works

My opinion is if you do not recognize or know the caller, do not answer the call. Many of us have had their information hacked whether you know it or not. Examples: Target,Home Depot, Blue Cross. The age of privacy has ended with the internet. One alternative if the caller is persistent is to keep a record of calls and contact your state attorney general.
