Yes many people want and can only afford the cheapest products, but buying Chinese goods to save a few dollars is very very short sighted.

We need to keep in mind that whenever we refer to "the Chinese government" we are essentially referring to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The CCP is "the problem" by definition, and the organization within China that calls the shots.

Interestingly enough, the most important mission of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) is to defend the CCP.
