Let us all keep Christ in Christmas (: |

Christ knows those who trust and believe Him by faith.
By faith we can trust Him to spare us when He returns. Believers don't have to argue our case and submit briefs on why we read a certain version of the Scriptures! “How long do You keep us in doubt? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.”https://www.biblegateway.com/passage...0&version=NKJV |
Guess I'm a little dense, but I don't grasp the difference between translations that say the mark of the beast will be "in" the right hand or forehead and those that say the mark will be "on" the right hand or forehead. Explanation please.

I want to hear more defending Noah finding the penguins and kangaroos in the Middle East.

Forget penguins and kangaroos...Noah had bigger problems.

I guess there really is not going to be anyone who really can contribute to my question on the King James Bible versus the newer translations. Are you people who have come in on this thread Christians?

Sophie yes I am a Christian and was saved when I was 13 years old. We have always used only the King James version of the Bible. The book of Revelations is the book even few God called ministers will preach and cannot be read carnally nor taken literally. We believe God reveals and helps us understand what we need as we read. Definitely there are a lot of parts in this book and others that are still a mystery and probably always will remain a mystery. These last few verses of Revelations are a good guide as far as removing from or adding to the written word but it all revolves around our faith in God. Revelation Chapter 22 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. |
