Peanut butter on a bagel is fine, if you simply want peanut butter on a bagel...

I'll even do tuna on a toasted bagel...

But a bagel with a "schmear" is a gift from god...

Even better is a bagel with cream cheese, lox and a slice of tomato.
Of course, a toasted bagel with cream cheese and grape jelly or strawberry preserves is great also.

cream cheese, belly lox, sliced raw red onion, capers. And a quart of water with lemon to rehydrate you after consuming enough salt to preserve a dead horse.

Having cream cheese makes a difference. Then I choose bagel (toasted), cream cheese and bacon (crispy).
Simple and satisfying.

Nova lox? I'm listening...

A bagel, cream cheese and jelly is great when I go to the diner down the street for eggs...

I worked at two Kosher Deli's in DC when I was in College. I learned to hand slice Lox...

Plus, it's part of my religion. You can find it in the Torah...

It is possible to make your own cream cheese without a lot of trouble. Go to YouTube and search for videos on how to do this. You need milk and a starter. Starters can be bought online (e.g. Amazon).

The cream cheese you make will be much healthier due to lack of preservatives. But it won't keep for too many days. Imagine - needing to finish cream cheese

I make my own yogurt with the same starter (how it is prepared determines if it becomes cream cheese, cottage cheese or yogurt when you start with milk....the same starter works for all, except cottage cheese needs a little vinegar.)
I think I'll churn my own butter. LOL.

Gatorade and fruit juice seems to be chronically low stocked, too.
I noticed the other day that Colony Publix had no V-8 juice.
