I agree. Since it was only the local network affiliates that were down, it does not seem to be storm related. I also do not recall a storm last night in The Villages.

That explains why we didn't lose reception. We were watching Extra Innings baseball on channel 720-something.

When there is a storm with heavy clouds the signal from the satellite is blocked that goes to your dish.No picture. Usually momentarily. With cable that wouldn't happen.
