Default Beautiful Macaw Parrot for sale

Polly is a female Greenwing Macaw that is 7 years old. Want to find a good home for her with an experienced macaw person. She is affectionate, has a vocabulary of about a dozen words, loves to dance and play peek -a-boo with her foot. She is only handable by me and my husband, so building trust is important. It is with great sadness that we want her to have a home where she can get more attention, as we have dogs that receive most of it. Polly and the dogs get along well, which includes a "bird dog" ccocker spaniel! We will include a high quality 6 ' cage and movable stand for $800 or best offer. Thanks.

I would be willing to adopt only. Experienced with macaws, handling, teaching, feeding and overall health care. If you cannot find a buyer please consider adoption if you can't give her attention. I am in the villages, thanks.

These birds live long lives. Best it goes to a young family or it will need to be rehomed again. And they don't seem to bond so easily later on. At least that is my understanding.

There was an article in today's Daily Sun regarding a club here in TV; the members share a love of birds and have all kinds of birds as pets. I no longer have the paper but I believe it was called Feathered Friends. The members should be a good resource for you.
