I feel sorry for people that don't drink because when they first wake up in the morning that is the best that they will feel all day.

I don't view drinking as a stand alone task, accomplishment or act.
I drink different wines with different parts of a meal. Having a beer with something that goes with it is always more enjoyable, however not much beat a crack your teeth cold beer after a spell in the heat. The most enjoyable drinks to me are the after dinner drinks and especially the ones that go with a good cigar! I too have moderated in my maturity and drink on all national holidays and I think this might be national peanut week! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() On the serious side, those of us in favor of drinking are not advocating a 190 proof ever clear IV in A vain, but having a drink or three with friends. Remember the reference to extreme for or against anything. I.e. Do all in moderation. That should include your tolerance of others. |

Actually in my case that's not true. When I get up I'm often stiff & sore and that melts away as the day goes by. My "prime time" is sorta-kinda Noon-5pm.
