My daughter (37) and I are going to Clearwater Beach this week for the day or possibly overnight. Any suggestions for parking? Any other general recommendations/suggestions?
Appreciate it! |

There is a parking lot at Coronado Blvd & S Gulf Beach Blvd. The intersection is right after you exit the roundabout onto Coronado Blvd. There is usually a “full lot” sign. It does not cost to drive in a take a look for a spot. You can usually find one. Very centrally located to beach activities, restrooms and some restaurants. I believed the cost is $6.00 per hour.

Suggestions might be more helpful if you mentioned your intent in Clearwater Beach. Also, your comment of "possible overnight" would leave me questioning whether you really know Clearwater Beach. There are plenty of hotels, but prices can be high, and availability may be limited .

We want to spend a “ day at the beach” or overnight if we can find a reasonable hotel room. We will use the Hotel Tonight app to find an available room and make our decision.

there's the Clearwater Aquarium that's nice. that's where the dolphin with a prosthetic tail used to be. (she recently died) also in Sand Key the Columbia restaurant is really good.

I personally enjoyed eating at Frenchy's South Beach Cafe (351 S Gulfview Blvd). It's right on the beach, so a nice view, especially when you're on the patio. If you're into beer, there's lots of breweries you can visit.
